I think it’s amazing how Micheal Jackson’s dad has done anything possible to make money off of his son’s death. This is it is out now, like not even 4 months after MJ’s death, and i guess his dad will be speaking at select theaters and making like 200 000k for it.I’m beginning to wonder whether any money is going to his kids or if it’s all going to his dad. Way to profit off of your son’s death.

Also, a funny story, my mom was telling that when she was younger instead of egging houses kids would soap the windows. I pointed out that it would only clean the windows. Soaping would take far too much time, that’s why egging is more efficient and well, gets the job done. Have you guys have had your house egged, or been egging before. Don’t be shy, it’s tradition.

Darn kids cleaning my windows!

Well, I had mentioned in an old post that I had bought a wow card but hadn’t inserted the key thingy, well since my homework was taken it down a notch I’m playing wow again!!! I’m pumped to be back, have been craving it (sad i know). If anyone is interested in questing or just messing around, my server is Eonar, if you are on the same server leave a comment and maybe we can meet up in game! Another exciting WoW related topic is the upcoming patch, they have redone the dungeon/lfg interface and it seems pretty sweet, cool thing for me is cross realm grouping within your battle group. On a school related note, in my computer engineering class we just got a project that involves a very old apple computer running os 9, if anyone has or still uses OS 9 information about basic stuff would help, I’m a PC and don’t know much more than the mouse has only one button.

Since Halloween is a day away, and my mom says I’m far to old to go trick 0r treating, I want to know what you guys are going to be! I think you can put a picture in a comment but I’m not sure, if not, just tell me in good ol’ fashion words.

On a sadder topic, a girl from my highschool is in Kingston hospital, and her condition is getter worse, I heard recently that her kidneys were failing. Her name is Brittany, I have never met her, but I  just want her to know that she has to keep fighting this.

Today I read this article that some guy had a chance to redesign barbie. The first thing he changed was her ankles..apparently they were too fat. I have never noticed barbie had cankles, but then again I have never seen a barbie for then a minute. I think it’s ridiculous, first of all; it’s a doll and well, it’s strange to think a doll has fat ankles of all things. Secondly, give women a break! There’s already all the ads in magazines telling them they need to look and dress a certain way, now they have to worry about whether their ankles are fat are not! That’s just dumb.

The second thing I wanted to bring up was a youtube video showing the vaccine gone bad. I don’t know if everyone has seen it yet but here it is. I think it’s a hoax b/c it doesn’t make sense. Watch it first and then you will get what I’m saying. My Biology teacher watched this and she said that it doesn’t make sense that a shot could affect your nervous system/brain so badly. What do you guys think?

Ending on a sadder note, GeoCites is dead! Yahoo shutdown the web hosting site yesterday. I remember making so many stupid sites through it! lol.  So rest in peace Geocities.com we will miss you. Wish we had more time together…

So, first of all, I lied to you guys, I said a youtube vid would be up soon but I haven’t found a good camera to tape with but once I get this essay done I’ll get right on it.

Also, I have been looking for a new computer (desktop or laptop) no luck yet but I have found some decent ones I might look into again. If you guys have any suggestions just let me know, I’m looking for something that is decent gaming but not amazing.

I heard that the USA might increase measures to fight the swine flu b/c the number of people infected had jumped…ask them how many people currently have the general flu, personally I’m with the 50% of Canadians that don’t plan on getting a vaccination.

In other news, I’m still waiting for the Ontario DMV to get off strike so I can get my G2 and start driving on my own.

This morning there was soo much fog you couldn’t see anything any farther than across the road. It was so thick I couldn’t see my l until I was at the intersection in front of it. I almost thought it was gone..if only.

Also, I’m sick of all these vampire movies and books and shows, enough is enough! Talk about milking an idea, the milk is gone..there’s nothing, let it go. I can’t name all the vampire related media, but I know there is too much…more new ideas are needed, badly.

I was wondering if anyone owns a ZuneHD. I have an 8G zune and since I’m Canadian I can’t get the HD. So if anyone has one I would like to know what it’s like and how well it works. It seems cool,  the hd radio and the multitouch screen seem worth it.

And if anyone loves music and wants to share songs with your friends on twitter, facebook and myspace(i’m sounding like an advertisement) you should try Blip.fm . It’s fun and displays all your favourite songs to your friends. I used it before and it’s very easy. Everyone should check it out.

New Reboot Movie coming soon!

So, with all this swine flu(H1N1) business I have learned a few interesting thing; You should frequently wash your hands with soap and water for the duration of the song twinkle twinkle little star OR the ABC’s , which I found was a strange suggestion as I’m in grade 12 but w/e. Also, you shouldn’t pick your noes because of the bacteria i guess (which is easy to say until something gets stuck up in there :O) and to sneeze into your elbow(of course if snot comes out, you become the idiot with snot all over the sleeve). These are good tips because I heard this flu season is different, though to my understanding swine flu isn’t that much from the regular flu.

Anyway, a way from the death and sickness. I don’t know what it was like everywhere else but today the rain and cold disappeared and was replaced with 15 degrees of better than being cold-ness.(Metric measurements of course) But just as quickly as it came it going to be gone, next 5 days call for rain..

I just heard on the radio that apparently Jay Leno has been stealing some guy’s bits for a while, but I mean you can’t blame Jay, his writers do all the writing for him.

Also, I was talking to one of my friends about what programs/sites we use for emailing, I use hotmail, but I’m edging closer to gmail, and she uses strictly gmail. So, just out of interest, what do you use for sending emails, leave a comment below!

Alas poor Yorik! What does “alas” even mean! Like I consider myself to be pretty smart but, like I am soooo sick of studying Hamlet! Does anyone else feel the same? Some people have trouble reading English but Shakespearean is gibberish, and to top it off he cuts words into pieces. Being completely serious, I think shouldn’t teach Shakespeare every year of  High School, maybe every other or even not at all, it’s just too much to handle, and then you have to write an essay about it, when you had trouble  even understanding the words! That’s just me of course-some people love Hamlet.

Well I should wrap this up because I’m getting dangerously close to 500 words, I have a page due tomorrow of the same length and well it would look bad if it wasn’t done but I had time to do this.

So I got Brutal legend yesterday! And it rocks!(pun definitely intended) If people have been on the fence and didn’t know if they wanted to buy it or not, I would say definitely get it! It’s hilarious, has some great music and fun game play. The stage battles aren’t hard and since i’m not into RTS games,  that means something!

Ok! Lets get out of this raving about BL lol.  I got my game card! And i’m itching to get back into the world and start pwning some nubs!

Also, on a side note when I was buying BL and my wow card, saw this , ya.. words can’t describe my confusion.

And in other news I AM SICK of miley cyrus or hannah montana, whatever she wants to be called and her buds the “rock band” Jonas Brothers, one; no one but 12 yr olds give a damn about your music and two; You will never, EVER be considered rock stars if you are signed by Disney, even if you get out of the contract you won’t be.

Well then, that makes me feel a little better.

No picture today

Post is a little late but it technically still in the day of Thursday! I have realized that I am sooooo far behind in Hamlet that it wasn’t funny anymore so I was trying to catch up plus I had to work til 8.

So.  It’s getting colder, here at least, I can’t complain though because it means everything is dying and my allergies are clearing up finally.(ty Canada for having long winters!) That reminds me actually, what are your plans for this coming winter!? Are you planning on chilling out with family, going somewhere many degrees warmer then it currently is here, or somewhere equally cold but with other family? Love to hear your plans, as for me I have no plans..as usual.

I was wondering. I listen to a variety of music,  excluding country and most rap. I like mainly Blink 182, The Killers, The Strokes, and Matthew Good(before and after the  breakup..seen him live twice, going for a 3rd in the winter) Now that I think of it, that doesn’t show the variety I was talking about but oh well just trust me on this one! So, what kind of music do you guys prefer? Or even just name of some bands, as I’m looking for new music to listen to!

In other news, I feel like a hypocrite because I was raving about Brutal Legend but haven’t even bought it yet, I still plan to though! Link to BL info

So the long weekend has come to a finish and since I’m super smart I left a project due Tuesday til Monday at 9pm. So i was up till 2am when I called it quits and then woke up for school at 7…which sucked.(Someone at school said I was very committed) Anyways, enough of my complaining.

So today Brutal Legend comes out, which until recently I didn’t have the slightest interest in. Now I’ve had a change of heart and I wish I could get it today, but it doesn’t seem likely. What got me was that they had a soundtrack of like over 100 heavy metal songs, and that it wasn’t completely based on RTS elements, which I was under the impression that the majority of the battles were. It seems you can play through a stage battle (a war like battle ensues were you have to have a larger army than the other and destroy their stage),  two different ways; one, you can be on the ground and fight with our troops towards victory and only give simple commands, or two, grow wings and fly into the sky and control and co-ordinate your troops from above, of course there can be a combination of the 2, and please don’ hold me to this, it’s just we I took from the videos. If you are getting Brutal Legend or have it already feel free to leave a comment and give me a better idea of what it’s like or even if you decided to get a different game instead..I’m pretty sure Uncharted 2 is also out now too.

Also, I believe it’s time to buy a new game card and jump back into WoW and bask in its addictiveness. Leave a comment if you play WoW and maybe we are on the same realm(which would be fun) and can group up sometime.

So I hope everyone had a Great Thanksgiving and a Columbus Day, which I’m pretty sure is in the same weekend. What do people usually eat for Columbus day? Also did anyone eat something rather than Turkey for Thanksgiving?

Heavy Metal

So the youtube video is up and it is getting some views, 21 atm which in my eyes is decent for its purpose. This is just a mini post today because I have news and kinda feel as if the blog isn’t getting views because it hasn’t been updated in a bit. So, I’ve decided that I will  update Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday as they are the days when I should be the least busy. That said I haven’t gotten any comments on the blog or the youtube page/video, I would love to hear what people think so far and to give me some aim for the future.

That’s pretty much it for today, finally getting some turkey in me tomorrow!
